A notable percentage of the state’s workforce is composed of high-tech occupations, making up 10% or more than 76,000 of Oregon’s workers. Oregon’s success in the technology industry is no surprise. The state has experienced sustained growth in the industry and projects that the state will support 52,000 new job openings in STEM-related fields by 2029.
